How to breed your bunny

Breeding bunnies and discovering new species is an art as well as a science. The Dance Floor is where the magic happens; this is where you will combine different bunny species and breed the exotic varieties that will make your underground city a real showpiece.

You will purchase your first Dance Floor during the tutorial of Tunnel Town. You will be able to purchase a second Dance Floor at level 15. Once you have purchased two Dance Floors total, the Dance Floor will be removed from the shop. You can have up to two dance floors in your burrow after level 15.

Start the process by placing the two bunnies you wish to breed on the Dance Floor. Note that both bunnies must be at least Level 4 to breed.  When the bunnies are in place, the music menu will appear with the breeding guide will appear.  Choose which song you want your bunnies to boogie to -- your choice will actually influence the color and variety of bunny offspring you’ll get.  Try different combinations of bunnies, different dance floor positions, and different music to see the possible baby bunnies that can result.

When everything is in place, tap the Dance button on the music select menu.  The dancing won’t stop until the proud parents have produced a bunny egg, which you can hatch by tapping on it!  Note that every different type of bunny takes a different amount of time to be ready to hatch, anywhere from minutes to hours and even over a day for some of the more rare and exotic species. You can speed up the process by selecting "finish now" this will use one star for each hour remaining to make the egg ready so you can hatch it right away.

To hatch the bunny once the egg is ready, simply tap the egg several times and the egg will crack and then open! Then you'll be able to see the type of bunny you hatched.

Congratulations on the new addition to your colony.  Don’t forget to give your baby bunny a name!  They don’t really like the names they’re born with -- it’s a rabbit thing.
